for their contributions to The Friends over this last year.
Our historic church building is an important feature of our beautiful village. Unfortunately, maintaining such an ancient building costs money and the Friends help to raise funds towards this. Following the AGM in March 2016 the present committee has stepped down. We are looking for someone to respond to the following advertisement to help lead the Friends into the next phase of supporting projects for the maintenance of the fabric of the Parish Church.
Are you interested in Norman church architecture, medieval graffiti and fundraising? The Friends of the Parish Church of St. Margaret of Antioch exists to beautify and assist in the maintenance of the fabric of the Parish Church of St Margaret of Antioch in the Diocese of Canterbury.
The Friends of St. Margaretís of Antioch is looking for a suitable person to be its administrator. The Friendsí wish is to continue to preserve the Grade 1 listed church as a treasured, historic monument and place of Christian worship whilst developing links with the community and beyond. The principal objective of The Friends is to beautify and assist in the maintenance of the fabric of the Parish Church of St Margaret of Antioch, St Margaret's at Cliffe, in the Diocese of Canterbury, and preserve and protect it as a place of Christian Worship.
